HOW OFTEN DO FIRE HYDRANTS NEED TO BE MAINTAINED?

According to Irish Standards (IS391:2020), fire hydrants must be maintained at least 2 times per year.

WHAT ARE THE RULES FOR FIRE HYDRANTS?

All hydrants must be located more than 6m from the building and less than 46m. Hydrants must be within 300mm of surface and their lids must be painted yellow for easy identification.
